With software release v2.0, cmotion cGate provides access to advanced camera control over Ethernet-enabled cameras including SONY VENICE / VENICE 2 and a wide range of BLACKMAGIC cameras.

Furthermore, we are proud to introduce our Remote Cine Control Protocol (RCCP) for our development partners.

Camera Control

FOR SONY VENICE / VENICE 2:

Extended camera control features via cGate require a camera control license for the corresponding hand unit.

• Sony camera control license for cPRO

• Sony Venice Camera Control License Key for Hi-5 and Hi-5 SX

Existing Sony camera control licenses for cPRO and Hi-5 include all extended camera control features via cGate for Sony Venice / Venice 2 already. Additional camera control licenses are not required.

FOR BLACKMAGIC CAMERAS:

Blackmagic Camera Control Licenses:

Camera control features via cGate require a camera control licenses for the corresponding hand unit.

• Blackmagic camera control license for cPRO

• Blackmagic URSA Cine License Key for Hi-5 and Hi-5 SX

Camera control for cPRO is also possible through Blackmagic´s EXT port.

Remote Cine Control Protocol - Enter the LBUS eco-system through cGate

Through cmotion’s RCCP (Remote Cine Control Protocol), development partners can access the LBUS eco-system including lens, camera and Cinefade Vari360 control and metadata of all axis for their own implementation into motion control, virtual production workflows and others.

LATEST INTEGRATION WITH CYANVIEW RCP

We are happy to announce our latest integration with our development partner CyanView. Through CyanView´s industry established Remote Control Panel with its flexible configuration, external cforce motors can now be controlled via cGate for any multi-cam cinematic live production.

Compatible with CyanView Release 26.1.1 and above.
